Dungeon Sweeper: A Knights Adventure is a mashup of mine sweeper and a rogue-like dungeon crawler RPG.. You play as a Knight in search of treasure. Treasure hunting won't be easy though! The dungeon is filled with enemies who hide behind a dark fog.

While the enemies hide behind the dark fog, a successful Knight knows how to read the dungeon to deduce their locations. Reading the dungeon is key to the knights survival.

There are two actions:

  1. Press and Hold - Perform an Attack on a an Enemy.
  2. Tap - Reveal the fog for a non-Enemy tile.

The game is currently in active development and I'm seeking feedback.

Cheers 🍻

Keep in mind I've only played the first 4-5 levels: I love minesweeper, and I like the direction this is going. Perhaps, to make it more interesting/rewarding: adding flaming arrows as a reward, which could eliminate enemies within a 9 block area. But the mechanic of using minesweeper logic could probably be expanded on as well. One critique I have is that I'm using a laptop which a touchpad. This makes eliminating the enemies a chore (roughly 30 sec per level just to finish off the enemies I've already isolated). Maybe a way around this is to create a larger damage area with certain weapons. Anyways, gl with the future of this project!

Arrows could be an interesting idea. I'll try to think about how to incorporate something like that. It's still early and I have a lot of things to add. Appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!

I took your suggestion and turned it into a feature. Once you isolate all every enemy, you can use the Bow & Arrow skill to fast kill the remaining enemies! The game flows so much faster now! Cheers!

Fun, innovative concept; a winning puzzle+RPG combo!

Thanks! Much appreciated! I'm excited to finally have someone demo it!!! :)

I can't wait to get this thing completed. Cheers 🍻
